I am new to the crafting world of SWG. Please help me.

I understand that the experimentation process in crafting helps improve the quality of the item being crafted. I am clueless to how to do this. If someone can give hints on how to properly improve crafted items through experimentation I'd appreciate it. Also, there probably are FAQs or other web information about this, so links would be very useful. Thanks.

First, you need to be using a specialty tool (not the generic crafting tool).

Second, you need to be in front of the proper crafting station (Armor/Clothing for bone armor or clothes, Structure staion for structions, Food/Chem Station for food or meds, and Weapon/Droid for anything else).

When you get to the window in the crafting process that normally has "Create Prototype", you'll see another option above it for "Experimentation". That's where you want to go.

For FAQs, check the top of the Artisan page for a "stickied" thread topic (the one marked "Useful Artisan Postings" - there's an FAQ link in there).
