Hi all, for the life of me i dont know what those numbers mean.

For Example: say my pistol has the numbers 0/41/-81

What does that mean in the game?

That sounds like a rifle mod but it's ideal, too far, too close (modifiers to hit in those ranges for the weapon). I think that's the order, Look at a rifle, highest positive number is ideal range, lowest number is too close, the other one is too far. Order is the same on all of them but it's not as apparently obvious on a pistol.

That is of course my understanding of it from playing with it as a marksman/scout, but I could be mistaken.

Wrong.

The numbers are this...

First number before the slash is point blank penalty/bonus. Middle number is Ideal Range bonus. Third number is Max Range modifier.

I.E. At point blank, the first number is used. As you extend from point blank, the number increases to the middle number. As you go past that it falls to the max range number. These are of course in addition to stance modifiers. So if you see a gun with a 41 ideal range modifier, it will be closer to a 25 from standing, and a 50 prone. If you see a 61 ideal range modifier, you can fire it standing as well as you could prone. Also, a higher ideal modifier will fall off slower between ideal and max range.

Don't worry too much about them, though, as an artisan. Iwill throw extra points into them if I have experimentation left, but all most people care about are damage, attack speed, and wound chance. This I don't understand, because a Pistol with a super high accuracy rating will hit consistently, EVEN while running. Say start at60 andplop on a +30%power up, and you're getting NO attack penalty for running, essentially.
