when u experiment making weapons and power ups and things like that how does it help u to save the scematics on ur data pad??

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but if I understand you correctly:

Saving the schematic does not really help you as such, but will allow you to feed the schemtic into a factory that will then produce exact replicas of your schematic.
