Hi. I would like to become a weaponsmith. If I chose the Weaponsmith profession then decide to go back and finish up to become a master artisan, is that allowed?

I'm reluctant that once I pick Weaponsmith and start the new skill tree I will not be able to go back and finish off master artisan.

I can't really imagine that being a problem. Some professions take more than one skill tree to advance in, so I cannot imagine that you would be unable to get master artisan, just because you have mastered something else.

Once you take that Novice weaponsmith box, any weapon/powerup will start giving weapon crafting experience, allowing you to rise thru the ranks of weaponsmith.

Anything else you craft will still give the general crafting experience to be used on the artisan tree, thereby allowing you to finish the artisan skill boxes.

(this theory also applies to most of the other advanced crafting professions)
