Sorry, mis fire on the enter key.

Can anyone provide a newb guide to crafting stations? What do they do and how do I use them? When do you NEED to use them?

Thanks.

If you stand near a crafting station you will find that you automatically get a couple of extra steps to your crafting. You use the appropriate (specific) tool in your inventory and if you are cloe enough to the appropriate crafting station you will be able to experiment on the item you are crafting.

You only NEED to use them if you wish to experiment. Experimenting is not really worth it if you are just grinding, but if you are creating items for sale you can improve different aspects of your item, ie damage, range, quality, durability, effectiveness etc.

Hope this helps.

You also need them to craft higher complexity items.

Ex. Stimpack C's only show up when you use a crafting station.
