I just submitted this bug.

I believe this bug was produced by my crafting, i've been grinding and producing many of the same item (I.E. muzzles) I began using multiple crafting tools to craft the same item, thus giving me the ability to craft more than just one at a time, taking off some of the downtime while waiting for the item to be built before you can turn the crafting tool back on. After a while, i began getting this message:

"A Prototype object is finished being created, but cannot be placed in your inventory, probably because it's too big."

After that i couldn't use any of those crafting tools, it gave me another message that read:

"The crafting tool has a prototype or manufacuring schematic in it's output hopper. You need to make room in your inventory or datapad and remove the item before you can use the tool again."

so i kept deleting things, and kept on crafting, i had to destroy more and more things, and then i realized that "something" is taking up my inventory space, but it is invisible. So my problem was that i kept getting that message with my crafting tools so i had absolutely no crafting tools. So my problem stands, my inventory only hold's 18% before telling me it is full, if it's at 18% or close to it, it will not let me trade with other players or add anything to it, i dont really know what to do as i can't get rid of what i cannot see.

Would appreciate any help from anyone.

Tyrel- do you have any travel packs in your inventory that aren't equipped? I've been crafting those like crazy, and I noticed while experimenting with them that any items you put in them while they're not equipped are removed from the displayed inventory count, but not the calculations...

In other words, my inventory is at 60, and I put one item inside an unequipped travel pack. My inventory goes down to 59. Woohoo! Then I try to pick up one item, or make one thing, and I can't. My inventory is still acting like it's at 60-- I was soooo sad.

Anyhow, there's one idea for you

Did you remove the item from the output hopper of your tol manually? Once an item is stuck there, it does not automatically pop out when there is room in the inventory any more. You have to pull up the radial, go to 'Start Crafting,' and wait a second for the secondary menu to appear, and select 'Retreive Finished Product.'

That will free up your crafting tools again.

Also, the above poster is right about the packs - items in packs that are unequipped are still counted as being in your inventory.
