OK I hear all the people complaining about there resource smapling macros logging them off because they are AFK. Here is the solution:

It may be a little embarrassing, and you will need a decent supply of D-Cell Batteries.

1) Obtain a small shoe box
2) Obtain a vibrator
3) Obtain Duct Tape
3) Turn on the Vibrator.
4) Place the vibrator in the shoe box.
5) Place the shoe box lid on the shoe box up side down. ie the small sides are facing up like rampart on a fort wall.
6) Use Duct Tape to hold the lid on the shoe box.
7)Place mouse on the lid.

Now you mouse will constantly move while you are asleep, watching tv, ect. You will never be afk, unless your batteries run out.

what's a vibrator, is it the same thing as vibro knuckles, and why do Trandoshans always shout "anyone got a vibro for sale?"

Just hook up a small oscelating (rotating) desk fan to your mouse by using tape and a pencil.

That's wrong on so many levels.

Uhm... There is a checkbox to enable/disable afk in the game options.... it does seem to work, but if you exit/relog, the option doesn't save it's state... it goes back to enabling afk.

I just leave it alone... I have........ a different way of staying online and sampling... no in-game macros for me -- it's called Vivarin, lol!

I don't think, you can turn off AFK for permanent time.
You can make it longer, but you WILL go AFK. This was a discussion already in beta and they dont want to fill the world with AFK players, so you will get disconnected for sure. Maybe not after 10 minutes, but 1 hour or so...

But i did not try it, i just remember, i read about it somwhere.
