I see some people talking about experimentation while creating something. I just started out and I dont know how that is done can anyone help me out please. Sorry if its been discussed before, I went back 4 pages and there is no search function. Thanks in advance.

Actually there is a search at the bottom of the page, but I'll not make you use it just yet.

To experiment you must be using a specialiized crafting tool (not the generic) and standing near a crafting station of the same type. After assembly, you will have the option to experiment.

As a hint for starting artisans use only 1 experiment point at a time and click experiment.

But be fore warned Experimenting can make the item worse and it will never make up for bad materials.
