I was creating stuff and I didn't pay to much attention to how much space I had in my inventory.... well I created a camp but it says that I need to make room in my data pad or inventory. Well, I deleted over half of my stuff out if my inventory but it still says the same thing. How do I clean out the tool??

Click on the crafting tool till you see the radial menu. Place your cursor over the "start crafting" menu item, but don't select it. Another menu item should pop up allowing you to empty the tool's hopper.

There is a bug that makes it so you cannot empty the hopper and you have to destroy the tool. I have encountered this twice now.

I feel sorry for you if you've been destroying your crafters over this.

am posting this in both the Weaponsmith and Artisan Forums in the hope that someone can help me.

the problem is that when i try and use ANY crafting tool i get a message saying "crafting session failed to start" or something like that.

i was ok up untill i went and got my resources from my Hravesters this morning (was even grinding on the way there) but as soon as i tried to use the tools after that i got the failed to start message.

i have checked all the tools to see if i had something stuck in the hooper, tried a new tool that someone else gave me and i have even logged out and logged back in (after waiting about 5 mins)

has anyone else ever had this problem,if so how did you cure it? normally i would not bother about it and go do some hunting but i am sooo close to getting Firearms crafting 2 that it is getting to me

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Type /next and /createprototype in the chat box a few times each, that should fix it.

POKEY THE PENGUIN SIG REMOVED BY GARVA BECAUSE "Just because you are crafty enough to get around the technicality of it being a .jpg or .gif does not mean it is not an image, it is not ascii art, it is an image" SO HERE IS MY NEW SIG.

and sometimes if you back out of the tool, or get disconnected while your in the experimentation stage that will happen

try relogging if the tips from llk don't work

if that doesn't work, have someone incap you, if that doesn't work, have someone deathblow you, if none of that works, your crapped out until server reset

last time i had that happen, nothing would unstick me, had to wait 8 hours for server reset

If you're using multiple crafting devices on hotkeys, and hit two hotkeys at once, you'll cease to be able to craft as well. A logout will solve this.

Sorry I know the question has been answered and the problem solved, but I thought I might add my 2 creds.

I would hate to have to relog anytime this happened. So I thought I'd share how to workaround this issue without relogging.

Simple answer is it has jammed up the crafting station and still thinks it is crafting, to resolve it, simply type /stopcrafting and then you are free to craft again.

problem kinda solved after logging out for about 30 mins i found i could use them again.......untill i was crafting on the move (runing from bestine to my PA hall) and i was attacked....then i had the same problem again

so my advice is dont run and craft or else you might find you have to log out for 30 mins and thats a lot of exp you will loose

I am experiencing the "exact" same problem. I have even kept my mouse hovering over "start crafting" for two minutes to get an additional tab to either "empty" the hopper or retrieve an item - neither tab popped up. My problem began when I quit crafting in the middle of a session to help fight. When I went back to resume crafting neither my chemical/food tool or general crafting tool worked. I received the "failed to start" message with both tools. I went so far as to delete my tools and buy a new one. Even with a new tool, I still received the "failed to start" message. I don't how to correct this problem. I do not get any extra tabs in the radial menu of the crafting tool, so I have no idea what the problem is stemming from. Since, I am a medic/combat medic crafting stims is extremely important, and now I am basically crippled because I refuse to purchase stims when I can make my own high-quality ones.

If anyone has any insight into the problem or actually corrected it, please reply.

Thank You!
