All my other skills are complete, I even have novice weaponsmith and novice architect. Survey xp is going slow. Is there anyway, other than sampling, to get survey xp?

Use Harvester, it will help you get survey XP....

I have mulitple harvestors. I don't see ANY increase in my surveying xp. I think one of the better ways to get surveying xp is to just straight out and sample as much as possible. Try using a macro for sampling. I"ve never had a luck with them but I see people using them all the time. Now that I havea couple of harvestors up, I just sample water as much as possible, waiting for shuttles or if I"m watching tv. On the Valcyn server on Tatooine water is pretty rare anywhere you can actually build a harvestor, but in the cities I find decent concintrations of it. So if I'm not really paying attention to the game you can all ways see my character down on one knee sampling water. It's an expensive resource and like I said, there's nowhere I've found to put a harvestor.

If anyone DOES find this resource on Tatooine on Valcyn, PLEASE let me know.

Before the recent resource shift, I had 4 harvesters mining water. Pretty good one too on tatoonie. I recally it was OQ 975, got like 40k of it left.

So sad I am on wanderhome though

How in the WORLD did you get the novice architedt and novice weaponsmith without getting to survey IV?

I mean, I guess you could buy..but where did you get the money?

My question exactly. I got my first character to novice architect by doing weapon power ups ( at that time we were getting 40 exp for 10 resources). I would sample a metal site until I got a bunch. Then I would go and sample a chemical site, and craft while I was sampling. I would go back and forth between the two sites, sampling and crafting the whole time. I maxed out surveying WAY before I got to novice architect, but I never bought a resource or a harvestor the whole time.
