Now that the weapons are fixed, I've gotten asked a few times for powerups. Who makes the heavy weapons powerups? I would think weaponsmiths but the one I asked wasn't aware of them? Thanks.

I believe a power up for a weapon are all the same wether for a pistol or a flame thrower. Weapon powerups are under basic artisan. I do not know if there are anymore under weaponsmith.

No, they are not. Artisans have access to Range, Melee, and Mine powerups. A melee powerup can not be used on a weapon that is classified as ranged.

In anycase, I would also like to know where the Heavy Weapon powerup is at.

Hmmm...I've had 2 people now ask me for heavy weapons powerups and they both said that the regular ranged powerups did not work for their heavy weapons. Plus the fact that vendors have a seperate category listing heavy powerups, leads me to believe that someone can make them--just not me.

The answer is quite simply, unfortunately. There are no powerups for heavy weapons.
