I'm seeing loot items drop now that say they are for us in an 'Auto-Crafting Kit'

What are these?

TIE'S?! WHERE!

Blue rug, orange rug, gong, glass table items are all 10 part pieces that you put into an auto crafting kit you get from vendors in NPC cities. You put 1 of each of the 10 items in them and when all 10 items are in there you get the finished item

...and good luck finding the adhesive.

Each of the five is different.

Just talk to a junk dealer in an NPC city and they'll give you one.

Then you have to loot or buy the parts to make it.
