So its been a couple of months since I last made a vehicle, when I did it then I remember that during the experimentation stage there was a stat showing (effectiveness?) and when you sold the vehicles people were interested in the percentage you got there as it effected the hit points for the speeder or swoop.
So then yesterday I made an AV-21 for a guild mate (he'd already had one critical failure earlier that day when someone else had tried to make one for him so he was prepared for the worst!). He gave me the scematic, powerplant and about 15k of high SR ferrous and non-ferrous metals for it.
So I pulled out my 14.something WDG crafting tool, stood next to the 44.something rated WDG crafting station in our guildhall, and started to make it. When I got to the experimentation stage it let me experiment, and I got a minimum of "Great success" on the experiment, but at no stage did it show me an Effectiveness %, and then of course his first question (after "Did it work?") was "What's the Effecctiveness percent?".
So after I'd finished the AV-21 (which incidentally came out pretty well) I tried to make a couple of Speederbikes to see if it was just something funny with a limited use schematic, but I couldn't see the effectiveness on either of those while I was making them either.
Has this been nerfed so that you can't see the effectiveness rating any more?
Is it a bug?
Did I do something wrong?

The only way to keep track of the "effectiveness" of vehicle experimentation is to watch the % on the experimentation line. If you use a 990ish SR steel, and a 890ish SR aluminum, you will end up with about 96% experimented/effectiveness.
