ok im no crafter nor am i a merchant but i am aware there have been some changes in the way merchant exp is given out (though i could be wrong) So i was wonderng if there is a new macro or an old one i can use to grind merchant exp for a guild mate with

Merchant xp is still given in the same way as before. Best way to get merchant xp is to set up a bunch of vendors. You get 150 xp per vendor per hour. You also get a little xp when someone initializes the vendor. It's something like 50 xp per person per 10 minutes. So if you run a macro that just uses the vendor once per 10 minutes, you can probably help get some xp. But the easiest way is just to set up as many vendors as possible, make sure they have maintenance paid, and have at least 1 item for sale on each of them.
