Can somone fill me in on how to make an effective surveying macro intill I can afford the machines that do it for me?

OMG!!! Does nobody know how to search the forums! This Macro has been posted more than 20 times.... in the last 5 days, no less!
Please search before you post like this. The last person who asked this question generated a 5 page flame fest in SWG Discussion. Please, for the love of all that is holy, Search!

No offense to you personally, it's just such a touchy topic and no need to launch the debate again.

Is there one out there? If so please post here. Helps is greatly appreciated.

Not coz I'm being mean or don't want to tell you or even embarass you etc but because there is MUCHO good information in there. Your question "what should I harvest for max xp" hints this might all be totally new to you!

I don't think there is a survey macro but if you check the thread called "How do I accept survey event in macro" you'll see my rough macro in there you can build from.

But DO check out the stickies. They give you something to read while you're surveying anyway!!

Do read the artisan FAQ and guide that are in the stickies. I don't think the survey macro is in there yet though. Here it is, complements of Elyssa. Name the macro sample.
