Thread: Do you ever get more than 6 or 7 units when doing the first few boxes of surveying?

I am currently 4442 in artisan. I am using a sampling macro but I was wondering if you ever get more than 6 or 7 units per sample at this level? I am on a 90% concentration of the thing I am sampling,fiberplast. It just seems exceptionally slow. I have never done a crafting profession and I have been here since day1 lol.

Survey is the slowest treein the artisan profession to do and even at master level, the sample collected aren't that big. If I remember correctly, the higher the concentration is, the higher is your chance to get a sample.

The most I have sampled personally is 48 units and that was on a 93% spot with a surveying event. Other than that, it's been mostly 6-8 units on average.
I did the surveying tree first, and I'm glad I did. Made hunting resources that much easier.

i got a 68 sample when i was survey level 1 other than that never saw above 20.
