Hey all,

Couldn't find anything about this in the sickies,

I know getting the FS surveying tree gives you +20 surveying and another range option, but if i got this extra +20 with CAs or BE clothing, would i get the extra range?

BE clothes and tapes don't work for surveying I think. I think they're broken.

However there is a food item you can get that increases surveying. I forget what it's called.
Never tried the food and FS survey before though...I hear the numbers get really squished.

The tapes and Chandad food do not affect survey range. They do (assuming they haven't been broken lately) give you slightly more success when you are sampling resources. So the only ones likely to benefit from them are novice artisans that are grinding up the survey tree. Once you have Surveying 4, you will likely just use harvesters from then on so a bonus to your sampling rate is moot...
