Ok, I heard rumor that these were in game. Where are they? I would love to do these missions instead of delivery missions.

Some NPCs give out specialized missions. Playing an artisan late in beta I got crafting missions from both Rebel and Imperial NPCs. General NPCs should occasionally give them too along with delivery,destroy, gig, andescort missions.

Unfortunately,both crafting missions I got were bugged in beta and I have seen some posts of these kinds of bugs still happening occasionaly with some NPC missions. This isn't surprising considering the number of missions added and their complexity to code.

Also, you have no idea of what you'll have to do or where you have to go. I'll probably wait a week or so before trying these again. That way my character will be built up and the bugs should be ironed out by then.

The easiest place to find survey missions is the commerce guild. The miner in the central room will give out and endless supply of them. You may have to click through a dozen or more to find one you can do, but if you have waypoints to all the high concentrations of local resources already, you can make make money faster than delivery missions.
