AAHHH!!! Logout and log back in.

not the answer i was hoping for, but it'll do...

Had the same problem last night--sampling seemed to do the trick well enough, though. The numbers on the display are pretty good about telling you where to dig. I didn't feel it was enough of a problem to have to logoff and reconnect.

The bug is caused by renaming way points, relog after renaming and it should go away.

The bug also hits when you are moving and surveying. I never rename way points and it kept happening. Last night I finally noticed that moving and surveying bugs waypoints for me, logging out and back in fixes it though.

If you go into your Datapad(Ctrl-D) is your resource survey waypoint 'activated'?

Now if we could actually rename a survey waypoint or even create a new waypoint we would be set. Kinda sucks not being able to make new waypoints to good resource locations.

I have had this problem also while surveying. It can happen without renaming waypoints as suggested before. When this happens, you also lose the ability to manually create and destroy waypoints, although mission waypoints still work. Logging out and back in will fix it, but is more of a pain than just living with it. This should definately be /bug'ed, but it can wait until some of the more severe problems are addressed.

Previous post was based on bug as mentioned above. Can actually create new waypoints now thanks.
