Yes. It's called Usage Experience ( I think ).


What I DON'T know, is whether there's a cap to the amount you earn from an item. I would ASSUME there is, since otherwise it would make artisans too powerful.


I'm also not sure whether you get XP for consumables, like powerups.


So put those items up for sale!

UXP caps:


50% on consumables


100% on structures


150% everything else.



So if you make a crafting tool for 100 xp, then you could get 150 additional Usage XP.


It trickles in slowly over weeks. If you sell on a regular basis, you will soon find a very modest ammount of xp is accrueing every day.
