Can you still call

/ui action toolbarslot02

froma a macro? I re-rolled and want the most painless and fast way to go up the PIA survey tree without staring at a kneeling toon for several hours. I'm gonna do a /sample, /pause 5, /stand, /sit, /pause 30, start over macro calling the above thats in a macro and residing in slot 1 & 2.

Slot 1 & 2 with these macros

  • /stand; /sample; /pause 5; /stand; /sit; pause 30

Slot 3 & 4 with these macros

  • /ui action toolbarslot00; /pause 38

  • /ui action toolbarslot01; /pause 38

  • /ui action toolbarslot03 (slot02 for the slot 4 macro, this will make an infinite loop till I pull one of the macro's out of the slot)

Will it work? WHy isn't it working now? The macro won't even start. I heard they might nerf the ability to call "/ui actionslot00" commands.

I could be wrong on this. I know my survey macro works and is similar to yours. I believe you need to have a capitol S in toolbarSlot.

IE: /ui action toolbarSlot00; /pause 38

Good luck,

ok, i figured out how to use the original posters macro

You need to do this:

4 macros, lets just say they are called sur1,sur2, sur3, sur4

Create Sur1: in it put

/stand;

/sample;

/pause 5;

/stand;

/sit;

/pause 30;

Sur2 is exactly the same

Sur3 put in:

/ui action toolbarSlot00

/pause 38;

/ui action toolbarSlot01

/pause 38;

/ui action toolbarSlot03

Sur4 needs put into it

/ui action toolbarSlot02;

Once u have created these macros put them in the top of your toolbar (the bar along the top of ur screen) in the order that they are numbered. i.e. sur1 goes into the first slot, sur2 goes into the second.

To turn it on just press sur4, it will continue until you remove a macro from the line.

Thanks to the original poster for this.

The macro I use only takes up one hotkey slot, and runs till I pull it out. It looks like this:

/sample;/pause 120;/sit;/pause 120;/kneel;/ui action toolbarSlot08

This set up works very well for me, as I sample while I'm grinding my way to Box 1 of... something as a Chef.
