Thread: Stupid new player question

Hi I am new to this so I have to ask a stupid questionWhy can't I prospect minerals?I have tried all the planets I can start on to no avail.

You need novice artisan and a survey tool. The rest of the instructions can be found by reading system messages when you try to use the tool.

Also if there was a resource shift you can't mine anything without a harvester structure.
