Hi there, ive only been playing a week and im wondering where i get new schematics from, i thought that you would buy them from the bazzara machines but when i look there is none available, ive changed the settings from reigon>>planet>>galaxy but none show up. Im i barking up the wrong tree here or is it because im on the new european server infinity?

Cheers

You get them automaticly as you work your way through the artisan tree. Each time you train a new square you get more schematics.

I think you can buy schematic drafts to program a factory to make bulk orders. But I may be wrong, as I am new to artisan too.

I was actually thinking of doing this... Making Schematics and selling resources to people to make Vehicles in bulk... Of course the buyer would need a friends factory or factory of their own.. Merchants looking for things to sell might be interested... But I really doubt you will find this on the Bazaar exspecially because you need exactly the same resources that the schematic was made with to use in the factory.

I may try it... Look for me around cornet barking around the starport...

Hey don't the faction recruiters reward you with Schematics if you trade in your faction points? Whenever I talked to him about it, I never looked at the tab because I was a combat class at the time. Has anyone checked this out?

Look on your Datapad. There is a tab that lists all the stuff that you can make.
Also, if you can not make something, it will not be listed on whichever Tool you use.
If you open a Tool, and the item is listed, you can make it. Sometimes you can't USE the items you can make, such as Wound and Stim Packs, but you can make them for other people.
The option to make a schematic pops up at the end of crafting.
After you put together an item, you can either 1. Experiment on it, 2. make a Schematic, or 3. Make a Prototype.
You make schematics for Factories. You put in a bunch of resources, and the schematic with those resources used to make it, and the Factory cranks out item after item for you.
It's easy enough to understand once you get used to it. Kind of like Surveying. Looks complicated, but it really isn't.

You can buy them, trade them, and such.

But you usually won't find them on the bazaar..unless someone is selling one. I don't know that many people do, or else they would for greater than the 3000cr limit of the bazaar would allow.

A sythetic cloth schematic, for instance, would be valuable to a starting armorsmith that doesn't have a source of the stuff.
