Thread: Listen up! Here is how you actually make your vehicle disappear when storing it!
Ok, I'm getting tired of this ridiculous lag in the cities. And I love having vehicles, but the DEVS knew about this bug while it was on Test Center and didn't do a **edit** thing about it. So here is how you have to store your vehicle in order to make the **edit** thing actually disappear from the world:
Use the radial menu to dismount your vehicle. Do not use a hot-key or the /dismount command (these may still work, but I know the radial menu makes this solution work for sure).
Once you've dismounted, click the bike again and if "Exit Vehicle" is still on the radial menu, just let the menu close. Click it again until you see "Enter Vehicle" as an option instead of "Exit Vehicle." One you see "Enter Vehicle" back on the radial menu, you may choose "Store" and the bike should disappear in about 10 seconds.
Please pass this info along to everyone you see and please keep this thread bumped to the top. It would be nice to actually be able to walk through the cities again.
Thanks to my friend S'zalgod who figured this out!
Knowing is half the battle! Pass this on to all you see so we can avoid the "vehicle graveyards!"
I'm not really sure what a 'nub' is, it sounds british though. In which case, rather than take offense I'll just chuckle politely.
Well #1 grats to you for having yours store properly. #2)See no reason to call other nubs because when they click on store, it doesnt, and doesnt, and doesnt etc etc.
Now if you want to call the programmers nubs, then that's fine, but leave the rest of us out of it
Pretty pretentious post, I'd have to agree...
Thanks Shirlock for your clues, but it does NOT always work...so, get of your high speeder and move along...
