Could someone explain a little on how to figure out what to sell items for?

Also how high the numbers go on items for quality? 15.00 on weapon and droid crafter? 100.00 on other items?

Sheesh, I've been trying to judge by what's for sale already, but "a firework package" for sale at 3000?

I've looked at the galaxy board, but that stuff is all high end.

Also, is there a way I can change my board name? It's from way back in beta I or II, like to get my game name.
