I have been using Personal Harv and a Wind power generator. I am thinking of moving up to a medium or heavy harvester and wanted to know what a good average price for each would be? I also wanted to know what kind or type of power generator I would need to powera medium or heavy harvester? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may have misread your post, but it might be easier and cheaper to try using multiple personals before moving to mediums, just to feel it out, and to save up some money to buy mediums.

Eventually, you'll want to move up to fusion ion generators (which you place on radioactive spots for power harvesting), but for now 2 or 3 well experimented wind harvesters (8 or 9 BER - base extract rate) should be fine.

In my humble opinion. 10 BER medium harvestors are the best way to go. You will pay from between 30k to 60K from a reputable dealer for a 10 BER Medium extractor. They cost more in mantenance and power than your personals, but will extract at a marvelous rate.

MediumHarvesters usually cost between 15K and 50K depending on server and BER (base extraction rate). A Heavy Harvester will usually run 100K to 120K+. I personally prefer Medium Minerals with BER 10, they are cheaper to operate than a Heavy. A high BER wind generator can run maybe 2-3 mediums if it's on a good % spot. A fusion ion generator will cost about as much as a heavy harvester. I'm usually running3 Mediums and 4 Heavies and a fusion will run all those with power to spare. The extra power can be sold to help pay maintence.
