as i was expirimenting i noticed that every time you experiment the complexity raises a number. does this effect the overall exp you get from crafting that item? i was wondering this and what all plays into the actual exp you get fro crafting, and how does usage exp work?

XP is 2 pointsx Total Resource Quantity used.

That's it. Experimenting, Complexity or Finished Stats have no bearing on the xp generated. Complexity effects time to manufacture, either by a factory, or your crafting tool. (I think it's 2secs per complexity point...not sure.)

Thus for maximum xp per click, build the largest item you have a schematic for. Typically for Artisan, this means the various Personal Havesters.

If you select Practice Mode, you get an extra 5% xp bonus on the attempt, but won't have an item to sell at the end of it.Do not experiment in this case, as this will just slow you down, and not gain you anything.

2 exp per unit is only a rule of thumb. It works out that way for many items, but everything's slightly different.

Vehicles are anywhere from 0.2 to 0.4 exp per unit of resource.
