For all of you that have gotten over 80% durability how did you do it. I carefully experiment with a 45 functionality crafting station and 99% weapons crafting tool and I can't get any higher than 67%. I'm currently using Neutronium Petoate Steel at over 900 SR and OQ and Aluminum at 888 OQ and maybe 450 SR. Does SR have to be high on both? --Veridia Deamic, Master Artisan/Master Tailor

SR weighting of the two metals... right on the button. Usually have experment points for spare unless I have a reallly unlucky go.
OQ means nothing to vehicles.

SR is the only stat that matters. The quality of your crafting tool and station does not matter in the end quality figure apart from that it may give you better chance of succesfull combines). Your aluminium has way too low SR. You need stuff above 800 at least. Your ferrous should be in the top 900's as well.

the crafting tool and station just reduces failures and give you more greater to awsome success. as said before. find material with exeptional SR. forget the other stats. if you find both materials with 1000 SR, you will make the greatest vehicles ever. good luck on getting that to happen. its possible but i bet on pigs flying in swg first.

You are wasting that high-OQ metal! Find something with literally ANY OQ, but very high Shock Resistance. That is ALL that matters.

While crafting, look at the bottom right of the description. That tells you what you need for improving certain aspects of experimenting.

I've got steel that is 1000 SR and Aluminum that is 996 SR.
I have tons of it and I can only get up to 88%.
I am Human, and have +6 to experimentation.
Hope this helps on what you can achieve.
