How much should I charge for BER4 Personal Harvesters?

Each one also has about 37k storage capacity.

The greedy side of me says 20k credits each as they are 1/4 as good as heavy harvesters and 1/2 as good as medium harvesters.

The more rational side of me says that they only take 250 resources to make. Even at 10 credits per unit, the best resources combined would only be 2.5k credits. So at 5k a harvester, I'd still be doubling my money.

Any thoughts?

I just put some up for sale for 20k each, and I'm interested to see if they sell.

I was selling mine for around 1500, then dropped it down to 700 due to the fact they were not selling great... now I don't sell them at all unless it is an order... or if I'm looking to help a new artisan out, i make a few and hand them over to them for no charge.

Becuase i know as a new Artisan those personal harvestors was a god sent.....

Ber 4 harvs are worth about 1k...and should be sold in mos eisley for newer artisans to get a leg up.

On Starsider, I used to sell them pretty regularly at 1800 credits each (they aren't worth much more than that), but sales have really slowed down. I think the get-rich-quick schemes for new players allow them to bypass the need to use the personal harvesters and they can move right on to the mediums or heavies. It's so much easier for new players to earn money these days, from the hand-outs, to the top shelf weapons, solo-groups etc...

A guildmate of mine who has been around since launch recently asked me to make a few personals for him. Eventhough he has bigger harvs, he wanted personals for those hard to reach places.

Anyway, to answer the original question: whatever the marlet will bear. Look at the bazaars on your server. I play on four servers (because I'm crazy) and the prices range from 1200 to 4000. I think it was Flurry, where I was told there were too many fighters compared to artisans and I didn't see any BER 4s on the bazaar, but there were BER 3s for 3K, so I'm guessing a BER 4 could sell there for 4K there.

So check the bazaar for the quantity and price for the items and make a judgement call.

my ma's in bria and wne im in the mood for making perosnaly i tend to stick tmhe on the bazaar for 3k-4k depending on wht resources i needed to hit max ber (ber9 wind harvs tend to be more expensive thna ber 4 mineral/chem etc as i need better resources to max out the ber on them)
