Hmm are you talking about clothing and backpacks? If so you are probably making them with sockets in them. You can put attatchments in these sockets to increase various stats.

yey yey yes if found this is true..all the clothes i make WITH sockets are listed with yellow names..and the ones i make with no sockets are listed with white names..thank you for clearing that up

ive noticed that certain craft tools produce items with yellow names and other tools make items with white names..what is the difference between yellow and white names...and how can i get all my items to be white names?

to put it simple all basica items have white names any non basic itme will have a yellow name

by non-basic i mean anything with:

sockets

dots

skill mods

and in the case of a looted item the name will be yellow if it rolled as non-basic but it was something impossible to enhance (ive sene a yellow named pistol barrel and yellow rnacor teeth before)
