I have a question if anyone has ever tried this..
When you drop your skills for the shop vender, does it stay or does it disappear?
And if it stays can you still fill it with items? and pay maintenance on it.
I'm an artisan 4 0 3 0 and I'm thinking of droping my merchant abilties.
And if it poofs I might drop my shop hehe

You must have the proper skills to support your number of vendors and number of items.
If you place the vendor/items and then drop the skills, your items will continue to sell as normal but you will be unable to place/restock more items until you have the proper skills.
It won't poof, but once they fall off sale, you won't be able to relist them.

Will I still beable to remove it then after it is finished selling the items?

You can take items out (and remove the vendor) but you won't be able to put new ones in.
If the vendor goes empty (no items on sale)AND unused for 2 weeks it will poof.
