Thread: Artisan Food looks Ok

Ok, I spent yesterday making Artisan foods and looking at Chef foods. Artisans seem to have the lower fill/lower effect longer lasting foods. We seems to be getting lower effects, but no negatives like Chef foods have. I know I'm going to be keeping some artisan foods and drinks around.

Food:
Bofa Treat: Boosts Health Regen
Blob Candy: Boost Action Regen
Caramalized Pkneb: Boosts Cure Efficiency (Medic Skill)
Crispic: Boosts Melee and Ranged Accuracy (I Got a +40 which is would make a Novice Pistoleer shoot as well as a 0040 Pistoleer)
Dust Crepe: Cure disease, Highly filling
Exo-Protien Wafers: + Mitigation Bonus
K-18 Rations: Reduces the cost of Burst Run (May be bugged, the display is borked no matter what)
Kanali Wafers: Boosts Health and Health Regen
Travel Biscuits: Boost Terrain Negotiation
Teltier Noodles: Boost Health and Action Regen

Drinks:
Aitha: Boosts Healing efficiency
Caf: Boosts Health and Mind Regen
Jaar: Cure Poison, Highly filling
Jawa Beer: Boosts Mask Scent
Ruby Bliel: Reduced Timer for Stimpacks to 30 seconds
Spice Tea: Boost Mind Regen
Starshine Surprise: Reduced Incap Timer

Any of these combos buff all of your stats:

Combo: Bofa Treat, Caf, Blob Candy
Combo: Bofa Treat, Teltier Noodles, Spiced Tea
Combo: Kanali Wafers, Blob Candy, Spiced Tea

I haven't done any research on which combo covers them best.

Sorry, but there is a bug with Artisan crafted foods. The BE crafted Light Food Addatives are not being recognised and thus are not able to be used. I don't know about chef, but most likely the same.

Ahhh! I thought it was just me


Prior to lastnight, I had never tried making food before. When the additives wouldn't work, I was thinking maybe you had to be a chef in order to use them.

just thought I'd throw this out there in case you guys are new to food crafting. The BE comopnent for foods, still needs to be crafted into an additive before it can be put into the foods. You should have a schematic to craft the lightadditive which requires 10units of water, and the BE additive.

I made a couple K-18 Rations the other night with an old Flavor additive. Not sure how much difference it made (at +25, I think it was from someone's BE grind), but the schematic accepted it just fine.

Ruby Bliel: Reduced Timer for Stimpacks to 30 seconds


I hunt jedi and this food is great with the 30 second timer and using 1k heal stim d's. However its use seems to be only once. After that it goes back to the default 1min. timer. MeanwhileSOE allows jedi Defenderstoheal themselves for huge amounts 10x greater then doctors. We fought a jedi tonight, he just healed himself with 2 guys shooting at him while he was PRONE, /lmao ...

Yeah, I'm hoping that is a bug, even if they lowered the time the drink had an effect for, it would be VERY useful.

Edited to Add:

I some how missed that foods can stack now. Not the same food over and over, but consuming all the buff foods and drinks is allowed now.
