At the moment I am working towards master pistoleer but I was wondering what other profession I should pick up? Im torn between Bh pistol, Commando, or picking up the dirty fighting tree of smuggler. (Maybe doing both that and flamethrower of commando) Im really just interested in dealing out damage. I want to be able to hold my own should I need too.

Personally, I am enjoying the heck out of combat medic. You need the pistol tree in marksman so there is no reason noty to go to pistoleer as well. The ranged heals are very helpful to your party, and the poison and disease attacks are killer. Don't sell the CM class short. Besides, every one and their mother is a BH these days it seems.

I relly liked doctor, it's a lot of points but bein able to give yourself or anyone else a 3k ham at the drop of a hat can come in very handy. Also gives you a way to make some bucks.
TKA is also nice, gives you a short range and long/mid range option, and they have defence mods better/comperable to ours so you would be one hard to hit gunfighter with iron fists.

Well, I'm going down a slightly different path...
Weaponsmith/Pistoleer/Smuggler.
I want to build, slice, and test my own weapons.
I also dabble in medic and scout.

fun is in the eye of the beholder.
profit (if you're starting now) is probably with the survey line (if you know what sort of resources to look for), armorsmith, or chef. in the very near future, shipwright is sure to be big.

The more work you put into it and the better quality you have of products..the more you can make. It's not so much which profession you pick, it's how you handle your sales and promotions. Though, I think tailor might be the least profitable right now. Hopefully the devs do something about that soon.

I have an alt ( M.Doc / M. Shipwright ) I want to keep M. Shipwright. DOC however is looking ...er well ... a lil weak compared to the use I had PRE-CU. So, what template would you all suggest, coupled with shipwright, to support an MBH main?

DE...make your own droids man. This way you don't have to search the galaxy for them all the time.

Thats a tempting idea... atm my alt is M.DOC / M.Shipwright ...the doc portion seems to have VERY little return for the investment.
