I know this is a stupid newbie question but here it goes anyway. How do I get schematics for weapons besides the CDEF defaultones I start out with? What skills do I need to train and what areyour experiences with post CDEF weapons? Thanks for your help.

You need to be novice weaponsmith to get your next tier weapons, and in my experience the first little bit isn't worth it. The unexperiemented low tier weaponsmith guns are worse than a well tinkered CDEF at first, and take a LOT more resources. (Oh, and adding that optional scope part really helps.)
