I was comparing two metals today... one had higher general stats than the other, but it's quality was higher... the other had lower stats, but with a higher quality? Can someone please explain how this works to me? I still haven't even figured out what numbers are "good" since everything still seems relative to me right now. Any advice?

Thanks!

Where does it stop Where does it end Where do we go. Why am I always complaining I can be good I can be bad I can be loved. Everything's gone black You're looking for that sun You're looking for that light. Lonely? You're not the only one to feel that way...

This comes into effect when you are crafting items.

If you look at any item schematic, you'll notice that each component has a percentage. For example, a CDEF Pistol has 50 Percent Conductivity and 50 Percent Quality for all of its components.

That means that when you're crafting, 50 Percent of the items stats will be derived from the Conductivity of the material used, and 50 Percent from the Quality. This also applies to the Experimentation bonuses.

This is why Copper is the superior material for CDEF weapons, as Copper almost always has the highest Conductivity rating of any mineral.

What effect does conductivity and quality of a resource have on a droid that you construct? (if any)

A few days back I put up a post that you might want to check out on the issue of resource stats and item crafting. It's titled "pointers for better success in your crafting", or something to that effect. I'd repost it here, but it's pretty long, and still up on the forums, so there's no real need.
