Thread: You are not permitted to build here ridiculously far from city

I built my first deed for a harvester, and have been desperately trying to place it. However, no matter where I go, or how flat the terrain is, it tells me I can't. Every now and then it'll say You cannot built in your current state, or something, but I think that's because I'm under a tree, or on an incline or something.

It seems as if you don't need the power before you built the harvester, but am I wrong? Or is it that the deed I made is faulty?

Thanks.

where are you trying to build.....The can't build in your current state is because you may be moving when trying to "use" the deed. if you can build in an area you will get an overhead map and a square that will be your harvester if the square is green you should be able to "drop" the harvester if it is red you can. There are some areas that seem to be "no build". you do need to get like at least 1km from town if it doesn't work try another city.

If it says "You cannot build here" You are in the "No Build Zone". If it says " You cannot build in you current state" that means the server thinks you're still running, just retry in a couple of seconds.

I agree, it's too far from the city to build.

If they're worried about the surroundings of the city eventually being cluttered up to the level of not being able to pass through then make limits on how close the things can be to each other. But 1k to set up a meager harvester is too far.

It's not like a little more sign of civilization would hurt the city feel in this game.
