Everytime I create a weapon powerup item I get a random choice of 3 different types. I tried **edit** do I tell the crafting tool which type to make when there is no sub catagory for each weapon powerup type?

You can't control it.

That is some sort of bug? I sent the bug report earlier because it didn't really make any sense to me not to be able to control the type of powerup I craft.

The types of powerups have different random effects. The effects are also altered by using experimentation. I think thetype of effect has to do with the type of resource you use...copper vs. steel for example.

Notice I said "think". I didn't get into this aspect as much as I would have liked, so I'm not sure, but if I made the same powerup usinga different kind of resource with differingstats (one has higher conductivity, for example), I would get a different effect.
