I have an idea to improve our success with the bazaars. Please post feedback on what you guys think. Devs, I wouldn't think this would be hard to implement with a patch?
I think we should be able to see how many times our posted auctions are viewed (number of times someone has chosen "details" to get a closer look on what they are considering buying). Similiar to how people place "hit" counters on their webpages (like e-bay) to see how popular they are.
This would be a fantastic tool for us that depend on the bazaar for our income, as we will be better able to judge the effectivenes of our pricing, naming strategies and locations for our items.
Looking at what is currently available in order to judge weather or not to sell at certain locations, as well as how much to charge, is simply not enough to make a good market decision. With a counter, we could be able to see if people are actually looking at our goods, or passing them over for better deals. The auctions/sales completed are immediately erased, so we can't see what is selling and for how much without keeping up to the minute detailed notes...and I certainly don't want to do that!
So how about it? I think it is a good idea for us. What does everyone else (DEVS?) think?

It is a great idea, but imho, I don't think it really matters. I mean, you should be putting your best product on the bazaar anyways just in case someone is smart enough to check out the details. Most people do check the details, thats why your product isn't selling. They don't like what they see. You should also compare prices of your products with others of better or equal quality to yours. Then price under it however much you want. There is really no need to have a counter to see how many people looked at your product. Other then to see how many people did not want it. I, for one, have gone through the bazaar and looked at random things that I didn't plan to buy. If I ran into something I thought was a good deal, I bought it. So, all those products that I went through and didn't buy because I wasn't looking for anything specific would just have another # to add to their "How Many Views" counter. They could lower their price all they want, if I don't want the item, I wont buy it. I will probably look at it to see what other's results were on it.
