I just assumed it was furnature, and that I could use one when I got to build a house.

I suspect it has as much use as the potted plants...

Its wrong to cage Neomedians! Don't do it!!! I suggest that Master Artisans fight the urge to craft this tribute to imprisonment!

Viva la Neomedians!!!

You can place it in your house, but it isn't very big, and it just sits on the floor. You can't stack stuff since objects are all non-tangible. It's not even really a cage, it's more of a perch.

It looks pretty cool actually, but doesn't seem very useful as decoration. Who puts a bird perch on the floor??

I don't have a clue what they are used for ethier, but I did have a creature handler seek me out and request that I make some for him... so I have to assume they have a use. I must agree though, it certainly doesn't mean much to get the Master Artisan title... except it looks nice above your head.

There are other things the Master Artisan can make that is required for things like droid components. It's more than just a flashy title. =)

Master Artisan is not worthless. They can make control units. I need Control Units for my weapons. Thus I am not only a weaponsmith, but a Master Artisan as well.

Melee weapons.

In beta, on Ahazi, before the wipe, I had gotten to Architect, Buildings I small houses, and was close to Buildings II.

I noticed that medium and larger buildings needed a few items from master artisan, which is why I am now a master artisan, and soon to be an architect.

I don't think anyone was saying master artisan is useless. They make things for various other profs, including architect & droid eng.

I'm one now, since my architecture requires stuff. But I hope all arch & droid eng don't become master artisans, or I won't have anyone to sellGP modules too

Perhaps creature handlers use the birdcage to capture a Peko Peko baby?
