Okay this isn't cool, two days ago they changed the reasources and I come home from work today and I find that they have changed it again. Please don't tell me that this is going to be an every other day thing, because if thats the case then harvesters are almost worthless and whatnot. It really just kinda stinks that now I have to go search YET AGAIN. I think we are getting the blunt end of the stick here due to the fact that we need these things in order to make xp. If its going to be an every other day thing I might rethink playing this game.

As Holo explained it in another thread, the resources on a planet don't change regularly. EACH INDIVIDUAL RESOURCE is on a 5-8 day timer. If a resource has been there between 5 and 8 days IT WILL CHANGE.

Just because Karauwite and Ami show up on the same day, Karauwite might leave on day 5, Ami on day 8. Or somewhere in between. It's not a blanket "all resources change on this day". It's PER INDIVIDUAL RESOURCE.

I have gotten in the habit, when I'm planet hopping to chase down my favorite material to ask a local artisan, "How long has this been available here." If I'm going to be making the multi leg trip from Naboo to Talus to pick up my items, I want to know there will be at least a few days worth of mining. If he says, "Oh, the past few days", nope, I'll stick with my surplus until I can find one that just showed up. If he says "Since this morning." I know I'm good. And I usually tip them about 500 creds for the info.
