Can you use asteroid recources for anything in artisan like vehicles? Or is that just for shipwrights and the new items?

They're only for recipes that specifically call for them. You wouldn't want to, either... NPCs pay upwards of 25cpu for certain ones.

I'm a noob to artisan...

How can I mine for the asteroid resources? What ship, equipment do i need?

Thanks!

Start by doing the quest for the mining ship. There is a decent walk through found here.

By the end you should have a pretty good idea what you're doing.

I have a sw thats paying me either 30cpu or 60cpu for certain asteroid recources, look around to see what pays best, im getting a full set of equipment for my Y-8 out of it.

I was wondering if you need the expantion to mine the asteroids or can you mine with only JTL?

Good question, i would just buy a mining laser and a cargo hold from a sw and try, if u cant, just buy it online or go to the store and get the total experience.

ok thanks for the info. as for getting the expantion that will be a no go, I didnt see enough things that I would like to warrent buying it. Of cource knowing SOE I might be forced to buy it with the SU that they will be comeing out with
