Thread: BARC Repair tool...what to charge for it?
Yea as a master artisan/master DE/master merchant/...need to know the above question..plz post your server and current prices you charge for these hard to make(due to asteroid resourses)items....Ive sold two i made for 400k a peice...is this a fair price..i think so considering how hard it is to get these resourses to make these things...you've got to have at least a two weapon ship (for the mineing laser)and a cargo hold from the quest or one built from a shipwright(must be certified lvl 7)and youll need to go up and down a lot in a day..because of the limited cargo you can carry..if you survive up there..so Tell me what you think there worth to sell or if your an owner of one of these great speeders..plz!
Small problem.
I just drove my BARC by the standard vehical repair area and repaired it. The cost seemedto bea lot less than for a swoop.
charge a lot.
until people start mining the neccessary resources more these things will cost a lot of credits, time, and effort to make. all that translates to higher cost for the end consumer.
The kit is one time use only. The kit also fully repairs the BARC also, well at least when its disabled.
As for pricing if you go with the average ammount the stations will buy it from you it would be 10500cr (Based on Red-Dwarf's mining guide). I would probably not sell it less than 40k if you do all the mining yourself, maybe 30 if you got additonal miners.

lol.. they sellfor about 750k.
Consider that people are paying upwards to 5mill for these on most servers.
i have not seen any for sale yet on my server yet, nor have i made more than the one i needed for my BARC.
TIP: Do not stand anywhere near your vehicles or store them if you are going to attack anything with ranged attacks.
I sold about 8 for 75k and 4 more at 100k. This was the first 3 days these things were available. As it turns out, I could have retired on those sales if I had priced them according to what they sell for now 
I saw one on Bria for 1 mill, a bunch at .5 mill and a bunch more for 350k. About 20 available in the galaxy at that time.
Charge till it hurts (cuz mining hurts). The peeps buying these prolloy dropped a few mill to get it.
Will vary by server I'm sure.
I think what they take 1500 asteroid resources, that's a lot of asteroid resources which are hard to get right now. Add to the fact that its for an item we can't make and thus the price really would be higher.
PS: We need an AV-21 Kit now as well, since they've shown that they can make such an item, would be nice if Guru could perhaps suggest for us a similar kit for AV-21s....these are hard to come by and I know folks would appreciate such a kit for them too.
