Thread: This powerup is faulty and cannot be applied to this weapon... wha?

Is there a reason why i'm getting this message when i try to apply a powerup to my gun? Or is it just a bug?

I get it all the time. It usually happens at a 1:3 ratio and only seems to happen on Pre-CU powerups. I haven't had any problems with my Post-CU powerups.

i had it happen with a pre-CU weapon pup.

Is there any way to tell the difference between Pre and Post CU pups?
