I hit a new personal best on my swoops. 2477 hit points.
I know, its not a perfect 2500 hitpoint speeder, but I haven't seen one yet that wasn't built from a scematic on that "magic crafting day"
I'm a 12 point crafter, with 110 assembly. I was using SR 923 Aluminum and SR 1000 steel. Has anyone beaten this yet? If so, how?

The best "non-patch day" swoop that I've made was around 2495 or 2497 I believe. I know it was within 5 points of the max, but I don't recall the exact stats since I never use swoops myself. I built it using some of my "special" resources that are usually reserved for the crafting of AV-21s. They have shock resistances of 997 and 1000.

On Valcyn, we can get 99.5% on any vehicle... We have one metal that has SR stat of 1000, and the other SR that is 985 (well, one is non-ferrous, and the other is ferrous.. i always forget!)
Anyway, i reserve these for my av-21's as Kyyle just said... (The HP for AV21 is 2992). So for swoops, i would get 2495 (1500 base + (99.5% x 1000)).
If you have the materials, then its easy to get... i spent a lot of time trying to gather these resources (as they spawned before i came into the game).
That is really the only way to get better.... even with these two, after experimentation, i still have one point left... so i know that's max... (11 point human)...
Anyway, that's awesome on your personal record... you should try and reserve them for an av21.

I have some nice stuff I've been sitting on, but it seems AV-21 components (esp the powerplants) have become quite rare on Eclipse. And when you do find them on GVS, people are asking RIDICULOUS amounts for them!!!
