Thread: Devs: suggestion for artisan schematics

Here are some items characters with money and houses would buy:
rugs
decorations - look at the prices people are paying for dropped "an elegant basket" or "a loudspeaker"
wall mounts for items, especially weapons
stanchions for pets so they can be displayed while the owner is offline or elsewhere
trophy mounts
outdoor fixtures such as potted plants, bird baths, etc
These could all be small items with low to medium resource requirements. It won't hurt any existing set of advanced schematics.

oh I like theses ideas. We should start a wishlist post for schematics. My personal favorites being decoative items and the ability to click on the walls/floors and curtains and change the colors and or patterns on them. The possibilites for new schematics are endless especailly for ones for homes.

The ability to move stuff up or down would be nice in order to stack objects, put a plant on the end table for instance.
Paintings and things to hand on walls.
The ability to customize things like upholstery, perhaps the ability to make couch covers, pillows, blankets etc that can be draped over or pur on furniture objects.
The ability for artisants or architects to make paint and wallpaper that people can use in their houses (one "paint" object would be enough to paint 1 or 2 walls for instance)
Ability to color some furniture like tailors can color clothing.

Maybe they can add an option to leave trash laying around for the guys.

Actually, what would be even cooler would be to be able to make a yard setting. Put up a playground, or a picket fence, or some decorative trees, maybe even a sandbox or a flower garden. Something to spruce up your lawn. Then, when vehicles get put into the game, you can buy lawnmowers and trim the grass.

We should also make the Furniture Branch into it's own profession. Also don't forget to add color palettes to the items--it would make decorating that much more interesting and provides more individuality than the current list of one color items.
