Umm.. there was a bug that gave 25% instead of 5% for practice crafting?

How come I never got this bonus!!! I've been practicing crafting ever since they put it in the game!

You did get the bonus, it goes in automatically. For example, I was crafting Reinforced Combat Staffs at 100xp per, now I get 84.

Pretty sure I didn't. I've been practice crafting muzzles for the same amount of exp for the past 2 days.

I read earlier that the 25% is an error, and that it's supposed to be 5 - so even though we were told it was supposed to be 5, expect to hear nerf cries when they drop it from 25.

The bug was fixed in the latest patch as well. It should now be %5.

At least I got 10k experience in weaponsmith, but I didn't even realize the bonus was 25%. I was wondering why this was going by so easy!

At the end of your crafting session, when creating the prototype, there will be a box you can check for "Practice". When you click practice, the item you make does not actually go in your inventory, but the resources are used up. If you are simply grinding out crappy items for experience, then this is a nice feature, since you get 5% more crafting XP, and you don't have to keep destroying items in your inventory. Also, this will hopefully lower the amount of crap put on the bazaar.

It's also pretty handy for botched experimentation.

How does practice crafting differ from normal crafting? I.e. how do you do it?
