Hi, this is my first time I've turned to the boards for consultance, but I've run into a snag.

I'm an artisan training in the engineering tree and am 10k xp into Eng. IV. I've narrowed the professions down to armorsmithing and weaponsmithing. Now, lets assume that the demand for weapons and armor where I'm residing is split down the middle.

What should I choose? Which gives out more xp for less resources, which are more useful to be able to make in a pinch, and which are just plain cooler? Please show me the way. Thanks.

The major diffrence between weaponsmith and armorsmith is that an armorsmith is reliant on a tailor for his novice proffession and without a tailor an armorsmith cannot make anything. If you become a tailor, you need to sacrafice armorsmith for a few and grind. And if you become a tailor, you will need a factory. I chose becoming a tailor simply because of the horrible pricing I got for synth crates. Both require master artisans I think.

But then novice weaponsmiths can't really make much so I have heard. And that shoppers usually look for high technique with weapons. They're both really a grind, just depends if you want to take on more.
