Thread: Sampling and weird error message: density is too low to sample
Ok, so lately, I've gone into certain cities while on survey runs and have tried sampling. When I do, I will get a message that reads something like "resource density is too low here to sample." Sometimes this has happened in cities, other times outside of cities, but ALL times it has happened, the actual density percentage was well over 50%. Besides, even when I've had densities of 14%, I've still been able to sample.
Is this a new change or some sort of stealth nerf? I saw nothing about it in any of the recent patch notes, and these are all in cities where I was previously able to sample with no difficulty. What gives? Anyone? Bueller?
Well, this was just to get some quick cash from running survey missions. I was going between cities, found a concentration, and wasn't able to sample. Pain in the ass, really.
From what I can tell it could be a bug. It seems to happen the day a certain resource spawns in which some how the game doesn't know that the source is high and thus doesn't let you sample. I dunno if they're fixing this or what but it gets me a bit heated to have to throw down a harvester to find out the quality of the resource.
