Thread: Does a factory really help with GCXP?
Hi,
I dont get to play a whole lot during the weekdays and the time I do get to play on the weekend I dont want to spend grinding muzzles. I was thinking about using a factory since I do have a fair amountof cash from weekend mission running and I macro mine while I'm at workduring the week. I would like to know a little more before I get involved with the factories and any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Some of my questions would be:
How much maintenance doesa factorycost per day?
How much GCXP can I expect? If I have the factory make 100 of a (normally) 200xp item, what percentage of that could I expect to get?
I know factories are not going to get me to weaponsmith overnight, I was just hoping they would help me get there eventually.
Thanks all.
Doing this allowed me to wonder around the same planet as my factory and i could still have some fun while gaining CXP.
I craft survey devices that use all metal from my factory I average 32CXP per item made. It makes One item a minute.
YOU MUST BE ONLINE to get CXP from a factory and I believe you must be on the same planet. You should test this for youreself.
BTW I bought my Factory from
Nicjac and Gui-jan on Chilastra they are great!!!
If you are still early on in the game, I would hold off on factories and grind small stuff to get Domestic Arts 1 and Engineering 2, then you can build bone armor which gives like 400xp per.
this is even easier if you have scouting abilities.
I am new to the game too, but I think that untill I get my character to a level that I want in all my fields, I won't be opening a business. but once I am all leveled up and I have a good base of money, I'll just jump right in
