Thread: You cannot begin crafting because there is a object in your hopper and you have to remove it

from your inventory or from your datapad. I keep getting this message and I have NOTHING in my inventory and only waypoints in my datapad. How do I clear my hopper in my crafting kit? Someone help!!!!! Thanks

The dev's should've explained this to every artisan....


Once you've made enough room in your inventory to take another item, open the radial menu on the crafting tool you used. Put your mouse over option 1., which is "Start Crafting." Another tab should appear above it that says something about retrieving from the hopper. Click that option, and it should put the item in your inventory.

this typically occurs because at some point you had a full inventory and had an item in production, when it was ready it could not leave the output hopper into your invetory so it stayed there.

even though your inventory is currently empty it will not automatically drop there now, instead you must hold your button down on the crafting device - the radial menu will appear - keep it down over the #1 option (i forget its tag and im at work) but a new option will appear that lets you reteive the item stuck in the hopper and it will now drop in your inventory
